EOG TREATS

We are organizing small treats for ALL K-5 students for end of year testing!  In addition, we would also like to provide a small break area for our volunteers and staff during these few very busy days. If you can help by contributing some of the items needed, we would greatly appreciate it!

  • Treat Items: If you can help supply things for the students, staff, and volunteers, please click HERE.

  • Treat Assembly Volunteer:  If you can volunteer your time to put things together, please click HERE.

EOG PROCTORS

The year is winding down and while that means the excitement of summer is around the corner,  we have a BIG week ahead of us with EOG TESTING!!  EOG Testing will take place May 29th - June 1st between 9:15am - 1:00pm.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are looking for volunteers to assist with proctoring and hall monitoring during EOG's.  Anyone who has completed the volunteer paperwork can be a proctor.  Our WOES family is wonderful and we would love to have your help as we encourage our students to work hard throughout the week of EOG's.

Proctors will need to complete a mandatory training before the assessment.  We would love for you to join us.  You will be able to sign-up for EOG Proctor spots at the training.

PROCTOR TRAINING

Who:  ALL willing helpful parents/volunteers
What:  EOG Proctor/Monitor Meeting
When:  May 10th @ 9:15am (come right after Muffins for Mom's)

Spring Carnival

THANK YOU to all the families that joined us for our annual Spring Carnival.  We had a great turn out and it really looked like our Explorers were having a wonderful time.  We hope you enjoyed yourself!!

Our basket raffle was also a hit!  After families finished with the last minute scramble to pick their favorite baskets, PTA members picked the winning ticket for each basket.  Congratulations to all our winners!

We appreciate everyone's participation in this fundraising event!  We are also very thankful to all our generous sponsors.  For more information about our sponsors, please visit out Spring Carnival page by clicking HERE.

AmazonSmile

Calling all Amazon shoppers!

Did you know that White Oak PTA can earn money whenever you shop? AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organization you've selected (hopefully that's us!). So, the next time you need to make a purchase on Amazon, simply go to smile.amazon.com instead.
