AmazonSmile

Calling all Amazon shoppers!

Did you know that White Oak PTA can earn money whenever you shop? AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organization you've selected (hopefully that's us!). So, the next time you need to make a purchase on Amazon, simply go to smile.amazon.com instead.

Box Tops Competition
Date: February 11-24

Get your scissors ready!  It's Box Tops time again!

We're holding our Spring Box Tops Competition from February 11 - 24th.  This is a friendly school-wide contest where each class will compete to see who can collect the most Box Tops.  Grade levels will be combined into three groups with one class winner from group.  The groups will be:

  • Pre-K - 1st Grade  (All of Pre-K will be considered a single entity)
  • 2nd Grade - 3rd Grade
  • 4th Grade - 5th Grade

Each winner will be rewarded a POPSICLE PARTY!   The parties will be held in March.

To participate, simply clip Box Tops from participating product packages and send them into school in a Ziploc-type bag with your student's class name written on the outside of the bag.  Students can hand in their bags to their teachers or they can drop the bag(s) in the Mindcraft collection box in the hallway as they walk to class.

Box Tops are an easy way to earn money for our school.  Each Box Tops coupon is worth 10¢ for our school and they add up fast!  Just cut them out and send them into school!
